1.3 Bug Report

After I messed up using the wrong sub-forum... (http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1584436-13-beta-feedback/) I would like to correct this...

So far:

  • If changing HBAO+, resolution seems to change into something obscure within the Launcher

  • Setting new Weapon Debris to Max caused at least in Croup Manor Crashes to Desktop (reproducible after loading a save game after maximum 1 minute)

  • after Weapon Debris issue caused me to reinstall the game loading times increased by 200% in most cases (not limited to first load after game start)

  • for some reason after using a mod launcher replacement and tuning some setting above loading issue vanished (maybe caused by using German?)

  • German localization: Perk "Lone Wanderer" is incorrect: In German tooltip says 50% more weight, in English 50. Latter is correct.

  • While Assigning settlers and placing objects in Workshop mode is now rebindable (I guess "activate" key), "R"-Key (e.g. move settler) is still hardwired (I guess Show Weapon/Reload would be the button).

  • "R" key (hardwired) to move all items in Transfer mode "sometimes" asks for confirmation but for some strange reason never within workshop mode. Honestly if selected by accident moving one ton of items is not funny to sort out again... Strange enough if e.g. trading with Dog(meat), sometimes the interfaces asks before moving

  • Croup manor: Assigned and unassigned settlrs sometimes gather below the cliffs (which is a bit daunting in case of shop keepers and guards).

  • Sanctuary: A trader brahim resides on top of a roof? (this one seems to be regulary true upon fast travelling into Sanctuary)

  • Within the region of listening post theta, some dead Yao Guai were sticking in mid air (they fell if being shot at)

  • Changing language to German causes a loss of voiceover, as ba2-Voice archive is not named correctly

  • content within textures/gore - folder causes crash upon loading a save game (or create new game) when archive invalidation is active (not officially supported, I know). This one is tricky to pinpoint which some textures installed.

  • Depending on NPCs within the vicinity, assigning settlers may take up to half a minute ("ressource has been assigned").

Things which have not changed:

  • Synth Armor addons like "Stabilized" are not entirely removable (None not selectable for some reason). There is a mod which fixes this correctly...

  • Lockpicking is still bound to A (Left) and D Key (Right), which is odd but already known since Skyrim

  • Tenpines Bluff: Unassigned settlers tend to go to the ruined house, even with all interior removed. Maybe frustrating when separated by a wall from the remaining encampment

  • [Minor] Enemy Laser Tripwires not lootable when remotely deactivated, same for similar trap activated devices

  • Changing language in steam (for this game) into German does not update the ini (language) which causes Crash To Desktop

  • [Glitch] If removing a addon from a lesser armor piece, you may add this addon upon a better armor tier (e.g. Combat Armor vs. Heavy Combat Armor) even if the perk does not allow to create that addon for the higher tier armor type (e.g. "Polymer")

With all these critisism I would like to express my amazement regarding the power the engine itself is capable of. I have installed a ton of textures which the engine works with without any major hassle. Over 3 GB of RAM usage is sometime that is not common nowadays, so: my kudos to your work!
