So i stumbled upon Covenant one pleasant evening, my friends have told be about this place so, when i discovered it i though "ah sweet". But when I started talking to some folk, they acted as if i already knew them? One settler mentioned someone *forgot his name* that he told me about this place.

No one in fallout have told me about covenant, like a specific person. And i have not ever had a side quest or misc quest to check the place out. Have I missed something here :/

Same issue, but I didn't visit until after I completed the MQ against the inatitute. I think maybe they open their doors to you after you get past that point I. The game regardless if you had been there or not. Same for you?

I haven't really touched the main quest. I haven't even met the institute yet. Hopefully its just a small bug or something. Any idea who i have to talk to, to start a quest with Covenant? Everyone just seems normal at the moment...

Try to talk to the man outside the door. There maybe a caravan trader outside, talk to him as well if present.

Yip I did, first person I spoke to. And he said something along the lines of "welcome back". Brilliant, never been here before haha.

And I don't want to read that link as I seen a little spoiler. This thread was moved from the general discussions for some reason. Just wondering why I'm known at Covenant, when I have never been before.

Have You cleaned out a "Sewer" across the Water from Covenant?
