The only lie in the e3 footage was combat zone, i genuinely thought i could see a fight and bet on it.

The fight you see is in the game, if you sneak and dont alert the raiders right away you come in just as the fight happens.

True but from looking at that scene you would think it was an event you could participate in, like The Thorn in NV.

Exactly, people saw it and just "assumed" it was this all important thing. And now they're calling BGS out on absolutely nothing, pretty sad really....

Yeah, if we were able to actually participate in the Combat Zone (and potentially fight Cait, where she then becomes our companion) I would think they'd have told us at some point.
