Nick cannot change clothing, as he is restricted to his detective outfit. He may, however, enter Power armor.

Curie's main weapon is melee because she both robot and synth. She uses guns yes, but switch to melee when it fits best. Give her a decent gun and ammo + some good melee weapon. How to fix the Institute quest on PC: Setstage 000F7933 200.
