Settlement Update question...

read the update 1.3 patch coming up, but dares not do beta patch till it's stable, REALLY looking forward to the new "better interface" to manage settlements... thanks Bethesda!~ REALLY glad that wires don't take coppers anymore.... because it's a pain to keep going to scary creepy robot lady to buy copper in Good Neighbor... and SUPER STOKED about the spawn changes in town attacks! but I wonder...



How is it changed? (I haven't see it yet, and certainly excited to find out...) did you actually just got rid of the center of town spawn, and instead, spawn siegers distant from town and add AI pathing? (I assumed that's how the Zombies attacks in Jameca was like) are we getting multiple directions for siege (because that'd be AWESOME!~)? if so, will we have Multiple direction siege, or just each wave will randomize? or are we even gong to have multiple possibilities at all? I know I'd find out soon... but I just can't wait... and also... when is the patch official release? sooooo excited to see....

So far the only attacks I've had that occurred 'in settlement', were Synth Infiltrations, which kinda make sense.



Of the other attacks I've dealth with the last few days, all have begun outside settlements, in some cases a distance away. Example, a Feral Ghoul that I was able to observe coming down the road or a bunch of super mutants that approached another settlement over the nearby hill.



There have been some interesting situations though. At the lighthouse settlement, several attacking raiders including a legendary and one with power armor spawned so close to Crater House they ended up fighting with the Children of the Atom there. Which made for heck of a light show. Downside, one raider survived and finally attacked the lighthouse, now wielding a Gamma Gun.

I get attackers spawning inside my settlements all the time, getting sick of not getting a warning, then just you failed to stop an attack, that i wasnt even warned about, and when i do get there, in some of the big settlements ive seen enemy spawn inside usually near generators, synths i understand but unless all critters have teleport technology its pretty crappy.
