I wish we could mark cleared areas for salvage

I like to clear out areas of all the junk, clean the bodies of all their stuff and haul it back to build up my settlements. However, even with a couple of perks (and every piece of armor built with the "deep pocketed" mod) to increase my carryweight sometimes I have to make half a dozen trips back to some places.

I've got a bunch of settlers that aren't assigned a job. I'd love to be able to mark a place for salvage once it's

cleared out and have go there and collect all the junk.

For some reason I get really anxious when I can't clear out all my loot. My habit for games like this is to, right off the bat, use the console commands to add thousands to my carryweight (essentially so much I'd never run out). However, I'm trying to play this game straight and using perk points to increase my carryweight but I don't feel it's enough. Not to mention I just couldn't see myself creating a new character without these perks even if their isn't a whole lot of room in the build to toss a dozen perks at being able to haul stuff

I kinda like the idea of a settler caravan clearing out an area for you. It does seem odd that the general of the minutemen has to carry all the hot plates back herself.

But, it is part of the game. I usually make one or two trips to a large location. Maybe they could give us a mule (two headed, of course) companion.

Strong back 4. Using action points to run is a little annoying, but at least you can fast travel while overencumbered.

Since we're wishing, Santa could bring me a "Scrap All" command available after I've cleared a location.

That would be great.

Oh, PS: Santa, it could get rid of dead bodies too, that would be really great. Destroyed buildings, scraggly bushes and rubble would be nice, but I'd settle for the stankass dead bodies.

considering that found loot respawn quite fast in game, looting everything from a location is not really necessary as the next one will have the same things. What it would be helpful instead is to avoid the haul back and fort to your preferred settlement where you likely store all the junk to support your crafting, and gear swapping. I like the idea to unlock in every city and settlement you liberated or allied with, an npc which you can pay upfront and do the haul for you or sell junk. It will be still balanced with current perks as you still need to walk from the salvage area to the npc in the city and it would require maybe the investment of a perk or gain favor in order to unlock such npc. Hopefully it will come in a mod.
