Someone made FO4 look like FO 1 & 2

So I found these pictures on a site that hosts wallpapers and I thought to myself, that looks like old school RPG right there!

I know it's probably mostly about settings and camera angels but still. That brings back memories! :)

Check them out!

I saw that mod the other day. Me and some friends were talking about the possibility of Bethesda including a mode like that, you know they said this game was important for them and their fans, and they didn't want to mess up, so we thought about the possibility of Bethesda adding some optional funtionalities like this to keep both, old school players, and new players happy. A PoV like this is not difficult to implement considering how fast it took the mods to create it. In the end Fallout 4 seemed to brush a huge part of the old players aside and focus almost entirely on new kind of players. I don't understand this, they had 7 years, a lots of money, they had everything they need to try and include stuff to keep both kind of players happy, and also other players like me who want new stuff. But I guess as usual mods will cover that for us.

I havent tried that mod yet though, maybe it would take longer time in Bethesda's case because they have to fully test everything they do, while modders just release anything with gamebreaking bugs included.

Bethesda so far didn't show any support for fans of original games, I don't see how that would change.

It's not worth the effort, since entire locations would need to be remade in order to work with the view.

And this game won't suddenly become like originals by changing camera angles, it is to far off by everything else.

That's cool. Brings back some good memories. I don't miss it though. I rather enjoy looking through the eyes of my character. They could bring back the charm of the old games though.

Yeah, it looks neat and brings back memories for sure. Not sure I would like to pay FO4 like that though. My personal preference is 3 rd person, but I have no problem with first person view. :)

I think I would actually prefer to play it like that.

I think it would be hard to do that in real time combat, but I don't know. Maybe it's not. It all comes down to the UI you get!
