So, right now I'm about 70 hours into the game, and everything was going smooth. No bugs, no crashes (except when I first got the game, I couldn't play in full screen, but I fixed that)....everything was good.

Then, out of the blue, you know how Preston Garvey randomly comes up to you, and gives you a settlement mission? This one he gave me was to talk to the settlers in Sanctuary. Yes, where we STARTED. I tried talking to random people, and nothing worked. I figure it was a bug, no biggie. However, then he gave me another quest (with the Sanctuary one still up). The new one was to go to a settlement I've ALREADY GONE TO. I went ahead and did it, and so that mission ended, and he gave me a new one....AGAIN....ANOTHER one I"ve already done. WTF.

I figured no big deal, maybe I just found all the settlements, and now they recycle themselves? Like infinite quests or something.

However, I decided to do another quest, I'm supposed to report to Paladin Danse at the Pryden. I go there, and it won't let me report to him. Instead, he becomes my ally, and it sends Curie home. I tried everything, no way to advance in that quest. It won't let me "report to him" like I'm supposed to be able to.

Can anyone tell me wtf is going on? Its almost as if my questlines got reset or something. It appears as if all of the other active quests are still the same, so I'm not sure what is affected, and what isn't.

The same happened to me. I dismissed Danse, then waited an hour and when I approached him he initiated the conversation regarding the quest.

The Danse one is a well known one. What you have to do is complete the Show no mercy quest and then report to Cpt Kells. As soon as Danse becomes available as your companion it screws a few outstanding things up. Of course, this is all assuming you're struggling to turn in that quest where you find those missing BoS soldiers.

Once you're on the airship, Cpt Kells replaces Danse as your go to for quests, but like i said, he also won't interact with you until you've secured the weapon cache.

To the Danse issue, have you tried talking to him after he's joined you?

As to the missions Garvey gives out, they are raidiant quest, which means they are random (Random settlement, random problem and random target location) and they are repeatable, you do often find you go to the same locations a few times.
