Fallout 4 needs more enemies.

Post » Thu Jan 21, 2016 10:50 pm

I find there are not many creatures in Fallout 4. Fallout 3 and New Vegas has more. I'm upset they cut the centaur from the game. No ants? Heck the only wildlife in the game are Brahmin and Radstags. I'm always fighting super mutants and ghouls. It's repetitive. Skyrim has way more things to fight than Fallout 4.

Yea, I wish I had more stuff to shoot at as well. Could use some mutated Snakes or for real fear, giant mutated centipedes! :vaultboy:

You got many many Mirelurk types in this game.

They'll be sad if you disregard their existence.

Btw, we still need to know why Feral Dolphin extinct. We always see their corpses

I think they were supposed to be in a cut quest you can see http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/20_Leagues_Under_the_Sea

Probably what the Harpoon gun was for.

you got 85 posts and most of them are about repeating the same threads over and over with little differences. I think this is the 10th time you create a thread to say this.

The only wildlife in the game is Brahmin and Radstags?

Are you forgetting about;

Yao Gui?

Radscorpions?

Mole Rats?

Blood bugs?

Boatflies?

Radroaches?

Deathclaws?

Mirelurks?

Stingwings?

Or do you mean wildlife that doesn't try to eat the player in which case Fallout 4 only has two, the two you mentioned. Although FO3 and NV had exactly one.

Let's not forget slightly bigger Draugr! And the slightly different colored Draugrs. I'm thankful for the more monsters mod in Skyrim.

Although I will agree, we need more non-hostile wild life. More enemies never hurts either. But I am somewhat content with what's given to us. :)

More variation is always better. But as models get higher quality, they require more work and space, so what you get more and more retextures of the same enemy

Increased amounts of enemies would be nice too. Nothing like first person Bullet Hell :P

I think we have enough variations and enough enemy types in 4

but I also think they appear a bit too often, which makes the combat a bit repetitive after hundreds of hours

I'd be fine with leaving some buildings completely empty

Yea but on one hand this isn't a skyrim-like landscape. This is a harsh wasteland where creatures were exposed to large doses of radiation and possibly a mutated strain of FEV. The creatures would've envolved to the point of being hostile for survival.

Let's see here, Fallout 4 has...

-Super Mutants

-Mutant Hounds

-Feral Ghouls

-Mongrels

-Yao Guai

-Death Claws

-A great variety of Mirelurks both visually and mechanically

-Bloodbugs

-Stingwings

-Radstags

-Brahmin

-Radroaches

-Bloatflies

-Radscorpions

-Mole Rats

Where as the base game for Fallout 3 had...

-Ferals

-Super Mutants

-Brahmin

-Feral Dogs

-Mole Rats

-Yao Guai

-Deathclaws

-Bloatflies

-Ants

-Mirelurks

-Radroaches

-Radscorpions

Which means that Fallout 4 has a good variety of creatures. It also has more creatures than Fallout 3 despite what you tried to claim OP.

Not saying you are wrong as I do recall someone else proving this as well, but the OP seems to have conflated creatures with the rest of the enemies so I think we might also need to include robots and possibly humanoids as well.

Well that was my point and I'm not really complaining about it in either game.

Honestly, I just wished the bandits in Skyrim would converse more. I'm glad they at least somewhat improved on that in Fallout 4. I loved listening to the funny conversations that the thugs had in the Batman Arkham series.
