Hi everyone. I've been playing Oblivion now for two years and love it, but have finally become curious about these older games. I was wondering if anyone knows if they are playable using XP and also where I might find them?

I have xp and Arena runs great. Here is a like for downloading arena just incase you havent downloaded it yet. http://elderscrolls.com/downloads/downloads_games.htm. Both my Redguard and Daggerfall demos i am playing run great on xp. So you should be fine playing Arena,Daggerfall and Redguard on xp. The link to download Dosbox is on the same page. As for Daggerfall and Redguard ebay or amazon are your best bet.

Redguard seems a bit tricky to get going under XP, but I think it is possible. It may require not only DOSBox, but also a Glide wrapper for the video. To run any of these games on XP with the least amount of headache, you will want to run them using DOSBox. Instructions for setting all this up are available on the UESP Wiki, which I believe is linked from the pinned threads atop this forum (and in many threads throughout).
