What dlc ideas can you come up with and what do you hope for?

For me I hope there will be one for the memory den. You go back and fight in the war before or something like that. Another I expect is the glowing sea with how disappointing that was that area was I hope there's something there. I heard that someone found an underwater hatch idk how I feel about a water dlc but if it was a underground water base that would be cool. My last idea would be a sailing/going to NYC. Let me know what you guys think and if anyone knows when the first dlc is coming out.

Nobody knows when it's coming out, but I suspect it's going to be announced or shown around July this year.

I expect an expansion similar to Dawnguard, one that adds content to the current map as well as a totally new area. More weapons, armors, etc. What I wonder is how they are going to add new perks, maybe they will expand on the 10 attributes limits, or perhaps they will add perks that have nothing to do with leveling.

Whatever they release I hope it's mostly new stuff, I want a bunch of powerful bosses.

wouldn't hold hopes for any of them. They want to a void a lot of player choices from previous games and stick to the US.

Currently hoping for one with the abbey of the road which is ment to be near Boston and the underwater base, would be an interesting place for a vault.

i wish instead of doing "island" type dlc's they would expand the main game

wishes :

- remove magic from legendaries , replace with non-magic bonuses maybe ( i.e: mighty lvl 1 - lvl 5 )

- rework repeatable quests so that they are easier to get ( make one Npc that gives all quests so u don't have to run around and load screens too many times )

- instant trading ( i trade alot and the repeatable cutscenes are annoying )

- ability to take my power armor with me and equip it without watching the cutscene every time

- a system for normal clothing identical to the power armor where u select what u want to wear and equip it all at once

- a Workshop UI that shows all settlers so i can select them easier

I was thinking a pre war dlc. You find a large underground bunker near the glowing sea/marsh border. When you walk up close you get blinded by search lights and are questioned what you are doing here? You persuade them into putting down there guns and to talk. You than are meet by the last general of the U.S. Army left in the wasteland. They are gouls that got caught in the middle of the explosion 200+ years ago. You can join his small faction and take down a higher up official that ordered them to stay out back when the bomb got 200+ years ago. The general feels like it was his fault him and his men are now gouls and wants to end him.

Guns in this DLC: 1911 (.45 or 10mm) M1 Grande, and the BAR.

Armor: guillie suit( has a high chameleon effect and gives you +3 or 4 agility for sneaking), or make it to were guillie is a thing you can add to armor to improve sneaking. And the other is a sharp military unifor that adds 3 chirisma.

So what do you guys think, we can expand on this idea if you want and see if we can make it worth while.

I'm hoping to see that one of the dlc's is going to china and seeing what happened over their or like operation: anchorage again because of the protagonist being a veteran in the army

I'm hoping for post-game DLC that adds warfare between settlements.

Once the Main Quest is complete, I think the game should become a sandbox as each of the remaining factions vie for total domination of the Commonwealth. Settlements you've built are taken over by another faction and you have to battle back and forth to try to conquer the whole map. Then, the Enclave arrive and try to take everything over. I'm really sold on ideas like the Sword of Damoclese mod for the original Mount and Blade: there is an unwinnable battle on the horizon -- when it hits, there is no hope -- make a last stand!

I think this would be a cool and lore-friendly way to end this particular Fallout. All of the fighting you do and strides you make during the game will eventually be for nothing because, in the end, war...war never changes. A cool, tragic ending for your character. Or you could join the Enclave to stay alive.

Either way, Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics didn't end with the idea that you "won". Only that you survived long enough to meet a sad end later on.
