I guess when given the option to have six with another person in game, you actually just going back there to play a game of checkers or something.
Also, Dogmeat is a synth.
Dogmeat is transgender. "He" identifies as male, and it's rude to point out the obvious.
Plus, it's another box checked on the old inclusiveness list.
You can just imagine it is there.. Dog in DA:O and onwards had no [censored] either but was male.
I assume the devs in either case felt no need to be so graphically explicit. I am not bothered..
Actually, it's probably for the best. I've long since given up trying to figure out how he goes to the bathroom (especially to do #1) in that androgynous second skin of his.......
edit: being forcibly constipated and unable to pee by the restraints of one's garments must be a daily b*tchfest in the Commonwealth
I'm on my third character, and the very first thing I did upon leaving the vault with all three of them was to find a suit of clothes to replace that horrid vault suit. If there is nothing in Sanctuary, there is usually a drifter outfit on that corpse just across the bridge as you head to the Red Rocket.
Does anyone actually continue wearing that thing?
Not for very long. I provides very little in the way of protection, is the opposite of camouflage, and just looks silly outside a vault.
All animals in video games are female, even if they're called male.
It's just the way it goes.
Apparently humans, etc... are also genderless except for boobies. Genetalia are a no-no, apparently.
Well, to be fair, male humans in FO4 do have a small amount of 'bulge' in the appropriate place, more obvious when standing around in their skivvies. It is rather... unimpressive... tho. My female char probably should point this out to Knight Rhyse, just to get a 'rise' out of him... hehe.
Well, it's nice to see that some others have noticed. Maybe the person that posted about the graphics and the dialog people at Bethesda having not coordinated about the dog's gender is right.
