Possible spoilers:

I've been taking my time with this game and have got to level 49 and have just started doing the railroad quests. I'm on TRADECRAFT where I have to follow some guy to meet a "tourist" at the end of a broken section of freeway. Every single time I approach him the game crashes. In earlier saves, where I am not doing the TRADECRAFT quest, if I approach the end of the freeway it crashes back to my xbox home screen.

So I cannot complete the quest and this crash appears to be a very specific location. I do not want or have time to go back through all of my previous saves and find one that works at this location as it will mean I lose a great deal of my playthough.

I have tried deleting all my corrupted saves, uninstalling then reinstalling the game and power cycles. I do not have the console commands that enable me to reset the quest or whatever. All I want is the game to not freeze then crash every single time I go to this specific location. I have been a loyal customer of Bethesada for many years and I hope this issue can be resolved as looking at reddit and other forums it is an issue for other people and has no resolution.

This is a long shot, but go to diamond city, wait 10 in game days and try again. The cell will have hopefully reset in that time along with whatever was causing the crash. Good luck.
