So I decided to join the Institute which prompted a series of quests to take out the other factions including the railroad. After starting that, the railroad companion named Deacon tried to kill me when I returned to my settlement where I had him stationed. After that, like many others, I decided to take a break from the main quest line after finishing the last quest and I played for at least another 24hrs of gameplay before realizing "hey I should finish the main campaign." When I went to Old North Church to kill all the railroad leaders there was a firefight between them and the brotherhood of steel so I killed them all and went downstairs to find the door sealed shut and the dial that opens it not working. The escape tunnel is innaccessable from the outside and everyone is inside, therefore I cant kill them. Ive tried deleting and redownloading the game, Ive tried going to different areas of the map to re-render it and ive even tried going back to an earlier save but every single time, the doors are shut. I am completely incapable of continuing the quest so I cant finish the campaign. This is so dissapointing cause I love every other aspect of the game but this is a huge buzzkill for me. Any suggestions?
