Does anybody know for sure if the guards who patrol outside the gates respawn if they're killed?


If so, how long does it take?

I don't know ~for sure~ but there's a guard between Diamond City and the river that is almost always under attack from the supermutants up in the ruins of this blasted building near the four-way intersection there.... I don't see how he possibly survives, and yet there's always a guard there, it seems.... so they likely do respawn. Not sure on the time frame, though.
