Seriously though, why does everyone use this forum as a venue for their fan fiction.?

Because some tool posted a Twilight DLC idea on the Skyrim forums and Beth went through with it. They said themselves they will take suggestions for future content so post some good ideas to counteract those.

A more appropriate question is, why make a pointless thread about it? Some ideas posted on the forums can actually spark interesting discussion, unlike this thread.

You've probably written off much of the internet...

OP is jealous cause he can't come up with awesome ideas.

I think a big part of what they try and glean from suggestion threads isn't ideas wholesale, but more a general feel of what people want to see. So like, all of the weapon suggestion threads won't inspire Bethesda to add specific weapons into the game, but they'll think "okay, they want more weapons and they're really hankering for cowboy style weapons" (or high-tech weapons, etc). Or maybe if a ton of "Here's my story for a DLC" threads describe a really dark story and setting, they won't use those story ideas but they'll think about making a DLC more like the Pitt than like Mothership Zeta or Shivering Isles.

You can always not click on a thread you dislike....
