Justice League Movie...

Post » Tue Jan 26, 2016 10:55 pm

When WonderWoman comes out to theathers and the Justice League movie finally happens. I believe the best actress for the roll of Circe should be played by one of two ladys. Eva Green or Lara Flynn Boyle. Who are some superhero/supervillen rolls for the Justice League movie you would want for rolls like, Green Lantern?

I'd prefer them to keep Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern, he's one of my favorite actors :)

Hmm, Deadpool is in the Marvel universe right, which is a different one from the Justice League and Green Lantern. So hopefully, maaayyybbee they can find a way for him to do both. If I'm wrong and they are the same comic universe...bleck. Not sure which character I'd rather see him portray. I loved him as Green Lantern, but after seeing the trailer for deadpool the other night I can see where I might vote towards him playing that character instead.

I think the woman they have playing Wander Woman in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is a good match.

As long as Henry Cavell plays Superman, I'm ok with everyone else.

Agreed... She has the broad shoulders and comic book pose (superhero pose) figure like Henry Cavell...

Don't tell me. Uah, because he's cut like a god? You know I have a similar body shap. But except of having 20 abs, I have one big one. Plus I'm not 6' 4'' and, nevermind. I'm just depressing myself and scaring everyone else...

Uhm.. keep in mind there has only been three people to play Superman since the 1980s, and all three of them struck me as Superman.. but if I had my way, it would still be Mr.Reeve who did have to buff up for the role but was no where as big as Henry. It isn't his body composition though and I'm sure this is the case for a lot of people - sure, naturally some women would dig his chiseled upper body. Anyhow, It's the vibe he projects and his acting ability with the role. It feels like he really is Superman.

And if it makes you feel any better, I'm 6'0", underweight at 135lbs, and a terrible back by way of scoliosis. I don't care nor compare myself to other men, you shouldn't either :P.

Reeves was perfect. And a great actor, but I think Cavell is a good fit. If they can just get decent writers and directors on board all well be well, but I'm skeptical. DC doesn't seem to be drawing the movie talent that marvel has, though the dark knight movies, especially 2, were great.

But I think Affleck, the trailer for Superman vs Batman, and the recent green lantern movie are signs of trouble ahead.

Guess I'm the only person that liked Brandon Routh in Superman Returns :P although Cavell did an okay job in Man of Steel I am curious how he'll do in Batman V Superman.

All the actors playing the parts so far seem just fine.... It's just too bad they have terrible directors and writers making these movies.

I thought Superman Returns was alright, I do wish they kept the Krypton scene in (for pete sakes it was the beginning of the film and in the trailer) the only thing I didn't like was the whole "Superman's Son" sub-plot. Cause I believe at the time Richard Donner's cut of Superman 2 didn't come out yet (at least I don't think it did) if so then Sup's would been human cause in the Lester version he and Lois did the nasty AFTER he gave up his powers which would have made his son normal. If they would have taken out that subplot I think Superman Returns would have been a better movie, like Mr.Plinkett says "Nobody like kids in movies especially those that can't act, it sudden death for your movie".

I'm talking about the newest Superman movies.... "Superman Returns" has nothing to do with the new DC movies. And the old Superman movies from the 80's definitely have no connection to the new DC movies.

The thread is about the new movies, that started with "Man of Steel" 2013

Ah I see...I might have to buy Man of Steel before BvS comes out, that is if I can squeeze it into my budget.

Edit:

I bought Man of Steel from PSN, time to see if it's good a second time and it was ^_^.

Routh was almost a Reeve clone. Even playing Palmer (the Atom) on Arrow and now Legends of Tomorrow, all I see is Superman.

Aw, I'd be all for John Stewart Green Lantern. Definitely prefer him over Hal Jordan.

Although I think I heard rumors of Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson hinting at playing the role of John Stewart. Or was it Black Adam? Regardless, I hope he doesn't play either. I've seen enough of the Rock in movies to last a life time.
