Delphine is dead. She was killed by the dragon (3 times, so I guessed maybe she was supposed to die) in the final episode of "A Blade In The Dark" quest, and as a result I'm unable to speak with her as instructed. Is there another NPC to talk to? or a work around so I can continue? Or am I just screwed? I'd rather not re-do that quest since it was at Lvl 35 & I'm now Lvl 63.

Do you have any mods activate?

Delphine is set as 'essential', did you do something to change that, on pc?

Unless you have mods that removed her as an essential character, this should not have occurred. Check your mods.

I have about 30 mods running...mostly environmental stuff altho I also have Dragonborn, Dawnstar, Wyrmstooth, Falskaar, Hearthfire, & hideout running. They've been Nexus/BOSS loaded, and Wrye Bashed. How/Where do I look to check if Delphine is "essential". If she's been changed, will changing her status in the file bring her back? Thanks in advance for your help.

She's definitely essential. I don't know if trying to resurrect her will work or not.

I've heard some complaints about resurrected quest giving NPC's no longer offering quest dialogue after being resurrected. Someone will have to confirm that, I've never run into this problem myself because I've never had to resurrect a quest giving NPC.

It's usually not a good thing. I've read that if done immediately upon the death, it might work. I haven't done it myself either.

Try reloading an earlier save and keeping Delphine alive. It's got to be a mod problem though since Delphine normally can't be killed (I know, I've tried it.)
