Explain any and all things that your character regrets doing, or having to do, or anything that he/she wishes didn't have to happen


Today, Ziggy was approaching a pass-through fort, of a name that fails my memory, and some Khajiit ran past him, through the fort. He chased them down to find out who they were, and found that they were the travelers Kharjo, Dro'marash, and Akhari.

We then got ambushed by Bandits who were hiding in the fort.

*Side note-Ziggy was having a conversation with Kharjo when the bandit ambushed began, but Lydia held them off, while we finished our conversation.

Kharjo and the other two from the group decided to back away instead of help fight, so I started to fight the bandits. After killing two of the bandits, Akhari began attacking me! Ziggy also realized that Kharjo and Dro'marash had also become hostile, and was left with no choice but to fight them to survive. I killed Akhari, and fought Kharjo and Dro'marash sword-to-sword simultaneously, eventually killing Dro'marash, all the while, Lydia is fighting with the bandits. As I faced off with Kharjo a little ways down the path, an unexpected fourth party member, Zaynabi charged me with a dagger. I killed her, then eventually bested Kharjo. I finished off the bandits, and proceeded to contemplate the tragic tunr of events that had just taken place.

Ziggy was grieving, because Kharjo was the only Khajiit he had met in Skyrim that he had a particular liking for, and he had to kill him after a devastating event of mass confusion. He wishes that The Khajiit party had not mistaken him for an enemy and feels that maybe he was the cause of the ambush. But he feels that a stray arrow from Lydia may have hit one of them in a fluke occurrence.


He feels badly that he had to kill them, but his life was in danger and he had no choice.

Of my many regrets, my biggest one was having my main PC get involved in the civil war. Not because I regretted the side I chose, but because I hated the effect it had on the world of Skyrim. Whiterun was ruined. Jarls were put into place I didn't like. Town guards replaced with soldiers. It just didn't feel right afterward. I also began to resent Ulfric after the war. I still supported the Stormcloak cause, but I began to feel more and more like Ulfric had just used me to advance his station and promote his name. I'd started to suspect this some time before taking Solitude, but that's when it really sunk in for me. When Galmar makes the comment after we captured Tullius, "If it's a good ending to some damn story you're after, perhaps the Dragonborn should be the one to do it." That's when it clicked. I didn't kill Tullius. I left it for Ulfric to do his own dirty work. I'd seen enough death in Ulfric's name. I never returned to WIndhelm after that.

Killing one of Astrid's three hooded captives. I get a big guilty pang go through me when I kill one of them.

The one you killed was probably the innocent one....

Siding with the Imperials on my very first playthrough at game release. Never done it again.

I also regret having to kill one of the captives, but I kind of just evaluate them and decide which is the most deserving to die (the most likely to have someone hate them enough to want them dead) and go by that logic

Ziggy also regrets that his best friend Faendal may have been killed when he accidentally left him behind one time...
