I'm not the only one right? Like I've heard confident Travis and while he is nice the socially awkward Travis holds a special place in my heart.

No, I hate awkward Travis. Can barely understand him and he barely says anything about the topic. I do that quest asap so I don't have to suffer through his godawful awkard persona

Socially awkward Travis is endearing. Confident Travis is generic.

Why Socially awkward Travis may have some layers to his character, it's just not fit for Radio.

I'm with you. I love both, and confident Travis is funnier than he gets credit for... but awkward Travis is just the best.

If Travis somehow dies, does his replacement still report on the news and talk about the songs? Or is it just "some jerk killed Travis, here's some music" like in Fallout 3?

The latter, Sheng Kawolski said something like "Travis is dead, so I guess I'm doing the radio now". I don't remember Sheng talking about the news.

Smooth travis is trying too hard. His music selection is terrible I miss the jazz from f3.

In my first play through I barely listened to Diamond City radio before doing that quest, so I didn't even realize that there was a difference until seeing some people mention it. One of the things I was looking forward to with my current play through was getting to hear the awkward Travis because so many people said they liked it so much more. I listened to it. Hated it. Couldn't even stand it. I did that quest as soon as possible.

To each their own, but I find the awkward Travis to be simply annoying. I mostly listen to the Cadillac Jack's Radio Shack radio station mod lately though. It's excellent.
