Honest Dan at Covenant : Fallout 4

So where do i find Honest Dan? Can't find him in the Covenant area... If i can't find him should i kill everybody to get acces to the workshop?

Ok so i was inpatient and killed everybody... It worked lol

LOL I guess that's one way to unlock that settlement. I have always found Honest Dan there. Completed the quest the first time around, but never went back to Covenant to claim the settlement.

I read on other forums he will disappear when you finish main quest line or maybe i killed him already.. I don't know but couldn't Find him... And since that was about the only thing i had left to do in the game...?? I dunno how i overlooked the Covenant lol
