Now I usually pick police because he has lasers he shoots but wanted the opinions of others to see which protectron they like when unleashing them on enemies. So please drop your favorite and possibly discuss why.

I like the utility one, shoots railway spikes into baddies. Never really minded the rest, just enjoyed blowing the arms off for the sight.

Subway guard will ask you for subway token. You have to click at the protectron to present it in a narrow time limit (given you have one). If you fail, he will turn hostile.

Construction protectron will ask you to wear work helmet. I believe it will attack you if you fail, although I am not 100% sure.

Police protectron will attack player if he sees player attacking somebody, even if that somebody is hostile, including hostile to protectron. I am not sure about other types of protectron personalities, so be careful.

Medical protectrons does not heal you.

The only protectron that's 100% effective is abstatron.

Is a dead protectron.

While I realize it's not an option on the terminals, Drinking Buddy for the absolute win.

Yeah, I would have to say it is the Drinkin' Buddy which is related to a quest that you can get from someone in Goodneighbor. I ummm.... decided it keep it for myself for the ice cold beverages it can produce.

Firefighter Protectron shoots cryo, only one capable of killing high lvl enemies.

Especially at lower level they are very devastating against enemies and can help in an hard fight.

You can always kill them afterwards.

At higher level they get killed easy by enemies but can be nice to pull them into an killing zone.
