one thing that irritates me the most in this game and i am sure i am not the only one is the respawn rate of locatuins you have cleared

it is just so riddicelous short so short it basicly breaks immersion , nothing more frustrating as clearing a site in a great difficult fight only to find the same raiders/ unners /supermutants back the next day

makes me even wonder what is the point of this all that these npc eventually respawn fine / great no problem at all , but that the almost instantly respawn as soon you leave that area is a axefull bad game design in my opinon

what is your opinion on this

This is ok for me, i mean why shouldnt Dungeons repopulate? A bigger problem is respawning of unique Encounter which died already. This makes no sense. There are enough Raiders and Mutants who could take back a Dungeon, but Encounter like the 2 Art's are just a bad copy/paste of Bethesda. There is no Logic in that.

I'm fine with it.

I played Tomb Raider 2013 where enemies didn't respawn. Actually they did in a some spots and only a few of them there, like two or three person. And to be honest, realism killed the game. Glad I just borrowed it.

true and i agree they should respawn eventually most of them anyway what frustrates me the most is how fast they respawn they litterally respawn as soon you leave

there been cases a raiders or supermutants respawned whule you returned to repair or rearmed znf xhile the bodies were still there it is silly and makes people wonder shy and what is thepoint of clearing up these locations your character is suppose to make the comenwealth a better place with his or her actions

it is the speed of the respawn rate that is in my opinion annoying NOT that they actually do respaxn

I have the opposite problem after finishing the main game and repeatedly clearing out a number of places with the help of settlers..

It's too peaceful.

They aren't respawning like they used to.

Its not a problem if you fast travel everywhere. If you DON'T fast travel everywhere, it can become very tiring. You clear out an area, run to wherever and do some things/sleep, and when you run back everything has respawned, and you have to clear everything again.

I guess I haven't really noticed it too much. Part of the issue I think is quick traveling. Where for the player only about 30 seconds passes (depending on your load time) but in game it's much longer. QT a few times and return to an old location where to you it might only seem like you were just there, but in game time it's been a couple days.

I did clear one location out twice last night. But it was in the South and I QT to Red Rocket which is on the North side of map, then took a Vertibird back down there and the place was populated again (which was pretty cool actually cause I killed a suicider with the Vertibird's guns and blew the place apart just before landing).

"They've kidnapped my friend, he or she is being held at Back Street Apparel."

Ok *ding done*

*Next Day*

"They've kidnapped my friend! He or she is being held at Back Street Apparel!"

BUT I JUST CAME FROM THERE! *ding done*

*next day, Institute Radiant Quest*

"Another one of our Synths have been captured by Raiders, they are holding it at Back Street Apparel."

Err, wait what? *ding done*

*next day, while buying ammo at my settlement*

"They've kidnapped my friend! He or she is being held at Back Street Apparel!"

Um... OK, whatever. Apparently this place is the goto place for kidnappers.

Is any level of punctuation not a thing they do nowadays? Is it considered "too mainstream" or something?

Oh, and this hurts.

I just assume that not everyone is home the first time around. Raiders raid, and covet the digs of rival raider gangs. Super mutants are out harrassing the players settlements while he's not there, etc. I try no to think too much about the game's inability to be a perfect simulation. If I did, the inventory system would drive me batty. I mean, where exactly does one store all that stuff in that skin tight vault suit?

It would be nice if we could have random enemies. Say for instance you clear out those raiders at Back Street. Since it is now vacant, some super Mutants decide to move in

I really don't like it either, because I've completely lost track of what buildings I've entered, and the ones I discovered but didn't enter at the time.

I do think the repeated radiant quests where people keep getting abducted from the same spot over and over again gets annoying.

Another thing that drives me nuts: I go to a settlement surrounded by automated machine-gun turrets, populated by settlers I have armored and armed to the teeth. I walk up to a settler who informs me they are being harassed by ghouls/raiders, from a location that turns out to be many miles away, and they just don't know what to do because they just can't stand up to them!

I want my character to scream at them: "YOU OUT NUMBER THEM AND OUT GUN THEM! TRY KILLING THEM!!!"

Also, it does drive me nuts that I am the only General in charge of the Minutemen, yet I am the one doing all the work. I was a private in the US Army and I never had this many people bossing me around! :stare:

But the re-spawn rate, no that doesn't bother me. But, then again, I played Destiny for quite a while where the enemy re-spawns while you watch. Talk about futile!
