Voice diversity

Does anyone feel that the voice acting for the SS isn't bad but at the same time thinks it lacks diversity. I had the same problem in mass effect when I made a black character only for him to sound very white. The SS actor is very good but I believe if you are going to take the big step of a voiced actor you need to have more than one voice to choose from.

Saints row is a good example. With at least four male and female voices.

Honestly, Brian T. Delany's voice sounds neutral enough for any race as far as I'm concerned. Yea it would be great to have more options for voices, but that just means more money and time spent on voicing the main character, which is something many people already dislike about Fallout 4.

I agree I have said before I don't like the idea of a voiced main, the actor is fine, but if this is going to be a permanent feature in fallout they gotta spend the extra money to ensure a good product. Plus one of my gripes is the main is too neutral and doesn't react to anything.

Well voice actors are generally cheap, especially good ones. Game developers have a budget to work with. Overspending money in aspect of the game means less monetary resources for other aspects of the game. All games have some cut content in them whether that was due to time constraints, monetary constraints, resource restraint or worse... the decision to release said cut content as DLC.

Yes I agree voice actors aren't cheap and I want fallout to not have to detract from content for actors. But at the same time that just makes it sound like they built the game and just got a bargain bin actor. And as some people have noted fallout 4 does seem to have a bit less content so they could have budgeted a little more for another voice or personality.
