I've gone back a couple times to the plant to collect more junk and I find myself stopping to look at her body. The baby bottle humanized her.
Have you ever collected a baby bottle from an enemy body?
At least she wasn't briastfeeding in public, that would have been super creepy.
Anyway, she was probably planning to use the bottle for a molotov cocktail.
there are actually tons of stories on terminals from raiders, that make them feel more human as well <3
Well, I must be a heartless p.o.s. because I put bullet right in the face of "someone" the main quest is centered around.
I've collected many baby bottles from Raiders, both female and male.
Plenty of times. Raider is a Raider, baby bottle or not....
Nothing creepy about that. It is just a natural thing of life
There's good humour, and then there's my humour, apparently. I'm not giving up though.
Some sort of smiley would have helped No telling what you mean by words alone.
well all the little new raiders gotta come from SOMEWHERE, no? =)
Just pretend that she stole that bottle from an actual baby and you'll feel better.
But yeah, I like that most raiders usually carry a random junk item on them. Sometimes it makes me laugh like an idiot, depending on the setting or the place I kill them in and the item they're carrying. I remember one time I entered a room with three raiders with chairs and a table and proceeded to shotgun to face all of them. Then when I looted them I saw one of them at a Blast Radius Board Game. Don't know why but I just got this image of these three raiders sitting down and getting ready to play the game on their day off or during their break, but I stumbled in and ruined everything. Made me laugh.
Another time, I sniped two raiders from a distance as they were facing one another, presumably having a conversation. One of them had an antique globe, so I just imagined that guy was pointing out some location on the globe, trying to explain something, and the other was like yeah, yeah, whatever, I'm not going west, or something like that. Maybe I just have too much imagination for this stuff.
Yeah, sometimes I kinda wonder what was going through a raiders mind in his last moment... and then I remember it was a .308 full metal jacket, and smile in satisfaction.
I often wonder if I am in the minority here...
My greatest complaint of the fallout universe (and in prospect Bethesda) is the portrayal of the "bad guys" or aka raiders. For instance, imagine you were place into the world of Fallout... imagine you approached a camp. Would they just immediately start shooting? Some raiders.. yes. Some settlements would shoot first too. But what about a raider who gains your trust and then murders you. Why wouldn't they try to recruit you?
If you look at it in perspective... would you even go to a minutemen settlement? How do you know it isn't a trap? How would you trust anyone?
I just hate the generalization of "raiders." In truth.. you do kill husbands, brothers, lovers, wives, mothers, and children. Think of how many people would have a vendetta against you. I would just make sure you pour your own water
