DLC Wish: Becoming a GhoulSuper Mutant

Throughout my time playing the fallout series I always wished we could become some a little more grotesque. What if you were doing some kind of proving to the Children Of Atom making them see you have what it takes to withstand so much radiation, you survive but at a cost. Your skin is rubble, peeling from the bone, you scratch your face only to peel flesh. The Children of Atom see you as God for being able to withstand such high radiation and become your new followers.

Or if that dosent take your fancy what about this one:

You enter a specific area only to be blinded by a gleaming light, unusual figures appear injecting you with a substance that leaves you paralysed. You awake in a water container only to be observed by your captures monitoring your progress, after consideration they decide to put you in some kind of program. After many months you awaken only to feel...what's the word...SUPER. You have been experimented on and turned into a Super Mutant. With your amazing strength you break free and kill your captures.

These are two of my own personal DLC ideas that I would love to see possible in the game. Thanks for reading and taking an interest and I hope you feel the same way. Fingers crossed Bethesda may make it happen.

I wouldn't mind the possibility of being Super Mutant or Ghoul in the game, as long as it is by choice, and not force fed to me. I have no personal interest in it, but can see why some would like it. Much like becoming a vampire or werewolf in the TES serie.

I believe that there might be some modder who had the same idea as you, and his insane script-writing skills somehow is able to bring it to life.

It would be better if Bethesda did an official release, but it could also be possible to take it one step further. Perhaps a story DLC that encourages multiple playthroughs, much like Alternate Start for Skyrim. Perhaps a story DLC that follows a very different character from the Lone Survivor (i.e. has different motives, a different beginning, etc.), or something along the lines of the difference between Far Cry 3 and it's DLC expansion Blood Dragon. Honestly, if you get a really good writer, a pretty good idea, and the most insane and/or talented script wizards in the world, you can make something outstanding. If given time, of course.

I might make a list of decent but possibly unique DLC ideas that Bethesda could tackle. Another, hopefully free DLC idea is to add alternate voice actors to the game, more specifically Player Voices, each with different personalities. Give voice actors time, maybe even pull a Robin Williams Genie trick and just let the actor go wild. Robin just spoke into a microphone without a direct script and and just animated that into the movie. Just a thought, though...

I'd be open to it. I thought playing a big daddy in BS2 would be stupid, but turned out to be a pretty good game. Got to give things a chance

Unless they make the game world react to it, I'll have to largely disagree.

I don't recall that many friendly Super Mutants in Fallout 4 so if you became a Super Mutant then you'd need to be shot on sight and basically not allowed to complete any quests.. whatsoever.

As a Ghoul you wouldn't be allowed in Diamond City (as far as I'm aware), or at least wouldn't be able to stay.
