they should make some kind of "prequel"

what i mean is, we see a lot of terminals telling stories from survivors right after the bombs fell, and most of them end in a sad way.

i would love to see a fallout game where you play as a survivor from the great war, right after the bombs fell

it would be cool to see the chaos, how people try to survive, see the scum become the first raiders...

and even see the remains from the army.

i believe the onlr problem would make some villain, since this is the beginning, there are no many choices.

Wouldn't that remove a lot of the mystery that adds to the appeal of those stories?

Personally I'd rather they go forward in time but yea, I'd probably play a game set in the past as long as it's in a different part of America.

That could be done. Everyone running in panic, fighting over supplies and shelter. You wouldn't need "bosses" since this isn't a MegaMan game, but you'd certainly have established "doomsday prepper" groups who had a hierarchy, and you'd run across them trying to take down a shelter or supply depot of some sort.

Dealing with the occasional secondary blast would be nice. Random chance of being turned into a ghoul.
