So I was watching videos on youtube about fallout 4 companions fighting eachother, and noticed that companions are waitning enourmous amounts of time between attacking their targets twice, for seemingly no reason. There's one exception though, Danse, who instead of shooting his lasergun once, waiting around for about five to fifteen seconds for no good reason, while getting damage, then fire again, (like pretty much all the other companions,) is actually fires repeatedly at his target, then waits a little, then shoots again. This, I think, should be the default behavior, for them to have significant use in combat. I see that storywise that can be wrapped up in: Danse is a trained soldier of the Brotherhood of Steel, of course he will be a better combatant than a reporter, for example. Nontheless, I wish that all the companions would be able to rangeing fire like Danse, and since Danse IS able to do so and he IS a companion, I figure it maybe possible to convey the code thet makes hime able to do it, to the other Companions too. That would make them a lot more powerfull. Don't know how difficult this might be, I'm not familiar with modding, but it's would be just as fine to have when the creation kit is is out as it would be now. As for the explanation of the change in game, I think it wouldn't be much of a sterch to say that they've gone trough either Minutemen or BoS combat training, but it wouldn't be too immersion breaking anyway. If you want to see it for yourself what's the difference that i talk about, watch Paladin Danse vs Stong on NPCwars, or about any compainon showdown there.
