These shops have hooks and racks for displaying stock, presumably.
I'd be very happy to place some appropriate stock there, but can I? No.
Anyone managed it?
And I can't place Nuka Cola bottles into a Nuka Cola machine either (sigh)

I find it strange that Nuka Cola machines cannot hold Nuka Colas. I have to store them and beer in milk machines.
i do agree that it would be nice if random items would display on shops while they are open, also why do the doors on the teir 3 always stay open?
i hope nuka-cola machines are changed to be able to store up to 8 nuka cola drinks and chill them if the machine is powered (like a jukebox). the stupid beer bot is broken for me and its impossible to complete the quest.
We need different looks for the stores, instead of every one looking like a lemonade stand. Bunker Hill has pre-existing stores that look a little different -- not a great look, just a counter and some shelves, but at least something different.
I just wish that the shops sign didn't stick up through the next level floor. I created a 3 level building with PA on 3, Beds for all but store workers, and then bottom floor is open on two sides and has the stores in a L with some stools and counter out in the open. The signs go through the floor above a bit.
Its like as soon as they came up with an idea they implemented it and moved immediately to another idea. Without completing the earlier idea. Had so much hope for this game but it just feels half-assed. I'm sure on pc its great with mods but on console it just lacks. Felt this way halfway through my first playthrough after meeting Rowdy. Was excited to become a Cat but that lasted for a few minutes before the "that's it" feeling hit. Tried a few more playthroughs but just can't do it. Its a Nuka Cola machine that uses power but can't hold a single Cola! Coffee fuelled rant over.
