Crippled Foot that Can't Be Healed

Post » Sat Jan 30, 2016 1:11 pm

Okay I have about 15 hours of playtime thanks to a quest bug that made me load an old save and redo the whole quest. But the main reason for this post is my crippled feet I have tried everything I can think of to try and fix this problem and it's a big one since I can only heal to 45 health due to my feet being crippled. I have used as many as 10 stimpak's at one time I have tried sleeping as long as 24 hours all with no healing effect. This has nothing to do with addiction because I haven't used any drugs or drank any thing that would cause addiction. Couldn't be from the first and only Deathclaw I killed it from the roof. If I could make it to Diamond City to see a doctor that might work but because of the low health 45 HP I can't make it and I can't fast travel because I haven't been there yet and the closest place for me is Concord.

Is this a bug?? Since the stimpaks and sleep won't fix the problem or am I just out of luck and need to restart the whole game. Please if you have any ideas help me. I'm playing on PlayStation 4 so no mods.

Thsnks in advance

Hmmm, this doesn't sound at all right - sleeping and stimpacks should certainly heal you.

You have some earlier saves surely, even if after leaving Sanctuary Hills... ?

That's an unfortunate glitch.

An internet search suggests getting into power armor and using a stimpak.

Others suggest recrippling yourself with a grenade and healing.

Maybe it's a timing thing of using a stimpak when being killed.

I remember one time there was this annoying noise that would follow me around.

It took me a little while to work out that it was my companion that had picked up a noise due to me entering a door whilst they were doing crafting at a workbench.

i tried a few things to get rid of it.

The last thing i tried worked.

Getting her to use the bench again and finish.

Not sure about the saves I will gave to check I just hate the thought of having to rdfo/refined everything again since it will make the second time and I'm not 100% sure how far back this issue goes.

I will try the power armor and use a stimpak. The problem with injury is I only have 43 health points maybe I can shoot myself in the foot or something I will try and see.

Nor me.

Hey, I just noticed the OP's post count was '1' so I thought, why not...

I think we should all hand out more fishy sticks as it's a lovely tradition,

http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/fishy-stick

but it kind of relies upon:

1. people knowing the meme, and

2. having a fishy stick at hand (which I do)

and Omie, please have a belated fishy stick from me :wavey:

Dress nvde an look at your character.

Note that you might get an shock and might have to use power armor from now on like Ingram.

Someone got an crippled head and he had lost his head.

Makes me wonder if you might miss an foot or leg.

That is right you are disabled and probably have to live with it.

Reload earlier games or console commands will work, might some tricks too.

I had the same thing, but with my arm.

You need to reinjure that limb, should be able to heal with a stimpack after it's been injured again.
