I am addicted to cleaning up the place

Post » Sat Jan 30, 2016 3:56 pm

I can't stop picking up junk. Everywhere I go I have to pick up every tin can and pack of cigarettes I find laying around. Looting takes up the majority of time while playing. I can't seem to stop. I have maxed out my perks just so I can hold more. My poor companion is always full of junk too. Damn you Bethesda, for making such a dirty, junk filled game.

lol, I feel your pain. I also cannot pass stuff up as I always think "I'm going to need that" as I add that 1 can to the pile of 700 or so that I already have. I don't travel with a companion as they just annoy the c*** out of me but I do have a carry weight of 690 at the moment (my pockets are real deep :) ) and I still have Strong back to go. I think I should be able to get into the 800's or so for carry weight but i know that still won't be enough!

I did the same for my 1st playthrough.

But this time around, I have limited myself to what's hidden in drawers, safes, and whatnot...

Do you grab everything that is not bolted down like I? It is a problem and really should have a support group. I swear most of the time I walk around encumbered. I normally 1000 units of weight deep at all times. My settlement building demands so much wood.

I normally don't mod my game much but as soon as someone makes brahmin carrying/ companion mod (so I can have the Brahmin and a companion).. I might just break

Newsflash Everybody

Don't pick up junk if you suffer from Loot-OCD

And don't trade with your companion either...... Just click your companion to do all the looting and they will carry whatever amount you want!!!

I'm *trying* to do better. I'm in my third play-through. This time, I'm doing my best to bypass folders, burnt books/magazines and empty bottles. Somehow, a few still manage to slip in there. Old habits die hard.

My highest character was only able to carry 550 or so, even with all Deep Pockets and Strong Back 4. And, of course, she NEVER used chems, so this was raw carry-weight. I suppose I could have spent more on Strength. I can only imagine the clutter she could create at home if she could carry 700+ :D.
