The first five years I owned Morrowind, my characters never did any quests. Just have a blast. Good luck!

Kira found her abandoned mountain shack after a short sleep at the Mages guild in Bruma (yay! Level 2).


She was grumpy after her sleep was interrupted by some creepy guy in black accusing her of being a murderer and asking her to go kill some dude in an inn! She may be an Assassin but there was no mention of payment


She then had a short 'Calamity Jane' moment working on fixing up her shack...but with less singing. Still plenty to do before its proper homely but at least she cleared away the weeds, planted the garden and gave the place a good dusting

Kira's mountain shack is all cleaned up now (but got to wait until she reaches level 8 before it refreshes - she's currently level 3), and she has started stocking the pantry with all types of food for potion making.

Kira noticed there was an Oblivion gate just down the hill, so she did away with the scamps that had come through and went to see what was on the other side. She spent a little while harvesting bloodgrass and trying to avoid the fireball spitting towers before leaving again. She's left the gate open for now.

Kira has also been hunting deer in the woods near her house with some success and stumbled across an outlaws cave...though I'm guessing she could claim that as her own now that the outlaws have been dealt with.

She's currently heading into Chorrol, picking plants & flowers as she goes, to call in at the local Fighter's & Mage's guilds to make herself known and see if anything is going on.
