So my last character was also my first character.

I played him off-and-on, or steadily, or sometimes excessively over the course of TWO years


I lost half data on him twice, though.


The first time, is not possible to misunderstand. The flashdirve I had been using to save on for a while got messed up, and would freez my xbox every timm I plugged it in. (I proved this, by having it left out, and my xbox run and play and nothing was wrong. I plugged in my flashdrive, and it didn't get past the dashboard sign in for an hour) So, I gave it to my friend to fix with his laptop. Apparently, it fried a port on his xbox, and two on his computer. So he got considerably angry and literally destroyed it. Luckily, I had saves up to level 18 saved on a different storage device, so once I svcked it up enough, I revived my character and played on

The second time, however, I have literally zero understanding of. I worked up to level 36 or 37 again, never overwriting saves, so I probably had a few hundred. Anyway, I was done for the night, so just like always, I saved, waited for it to auto-exit the pause menu, gave it a second, then shut off the xbox. Next day lo and behold. I lost ALL data on that save down to (funnily enough) level 19. But another thing I don't understand, is that that level 19 save, was on the same storage device as the rest up to my last level 36ish save.


Does anyone have any idea at all why this happened to me?? I had just carried my best animal friend Bran's corpse from The Castle Volkihar to my home between Falkreath and Riverwood to lay him to rest, and then... thenn.... THIS!?!?!? I was attacked by two theives! Within 10 minutes!

WHY DOES IT HATE ME I killed 44 enemies on this journey, and travled through rivers and around mountain ranges


Anyway, minor details.

Sorry I have no explanation but something similar happened to me a few weeks ago, I had a glitched mid 70 lvl. character that didnt show up on the HDD like it was erased so I bought a new 360 because the old one was burning out then transfered the HDD and had to redownload the game then transfer the license to the new 360 then started a new character.


After all of that I got my old character back but like I said it was a glitched character, I also used a bunch of those "easter egg" glitches that allow you to access to secret vender chest' under towns.


well for my situation my games didnt start freezing and stuff until I started taking advantage of these glitches so Im thinking that the glitches screwed up my game because my new character is non glitched nor have I used any cheats to access secret chests and at Ievel 49 Ive only had 2 freezes after 12 hr sessions whereas the glitched character froze 5-6 times a day, also it is a new 360 so that could explain it.
