Post » Mon Feb 01, 2016 9:02 am

Ok, maybe this mod idea could be pretty crazy, but WHAT IF is possible made a Power Armor with the Dwemer Armor from Skyrim?

EDIT: Basically, what if is possible made a mod with the Dwemer Armors from [Morrowind Oblivion and Skyrim?

You mean power armor styled like the Dwemer armor. It'd be interesting.

It'd have to be scratch made meshes and texture though, Bethesda won't allow release of mods made with assets from other games, even if that other game is one of their own.

But someone was able to import from Skyrim an armor!

So why not made a similar Power Armor with the parts of the dwemer set from Skyrim?

As I said, Bethesda don't allow stuff to be ported between games. They've previously clamped down very hard on mods that do so and few of the main mod hosting sites will host such mods as they don 't want to get into trouble with Bethesda.

The fact that someone has done it does not immediately make it okay. In fact, the video could just draw Bethesda's attention to it. Assuming it is ported and not made from scratch.

But they are mod. Basically most of them are made it for fun.

How is it possible that not be done, when some modders have recreated weapons and armor from Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas?

Recreating - ie: making a brand new model and textures is fine and Bethesda allows that.

Simply porting over isn't.

My fault. I expressed myself badly. In fact, it would be really interesting to recreate that armor. Not the file, but to recreate it as a new model.

Like I say, someone recreating it would be fine.

Yep!

Every time I tried the armor was always fun to use, almost as if it were a power armor. I just wonder if someone would recreate also the dwemer armors from Oblivion and Morrowind?

Eheh that's funny XD

But looks like there is something wrong :/

I guess how could be a real Dwemer Armor recreated for the Power Armor skeleton suit in Fallout 4. But i guess the idea works perfectly!

But how did you do this? :0
