No sound in geck

Post » Tue Jun 29, 2010 12:40 pm

I'm trying to create some custom sounds, but it's being made more difficult by the fact that no sounds whatsoever, whether created by me or otherwise, will play in the sound editor window. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried it with both the NVSE loaded GECK and normal GECK. I'm using Ned's fix for the lack of debug info (or was before I installed NVSE), and I don't think I tried playing sounds before installing NVSE.

What file extension? What file path? Those two things are critical for this.

.wav, 16 bit mono, data/sound/PPA

I tried a few more of the stock sounds out, and a few of them will play, but less than half of the ones I've tried.

I think custom sounds have to be under sound/fx
