Well, I don't have the best computer (oldish Intel CPU and graphics card), but I managed to get this game running smoothly. After the last update, the game became unplayable since massive textures clog up my screen. I'm actually getting better frames than before, hilariously. I would post screens, but I can't post links on this forum.

Any mods? Disable those. Verify your game cache.

Same problem here. No mods and cache "successfully validated".

I did a full reinstall, no fix to the problem.
