Bug in Institute quest

Post » Tue Feb 02, 2016 3:37 pm

I have a radiant quest from the Institute to clear some feral ghouls out of Jamaica Plain.

The only problem is: I cleared Jamaica Plain long ago and it's now one of my settlements. No feral ghouls there that I can find.

You have to kill all the settlers there to complete the quest. Unless you are on a PC there is a command to force complete it. I'm on the PS4 so I had to kill them. It was no biggie for me though I only had a few settlers there. Though after some more clear out quests I got one to clear the co-op. Which I'm not doing I have too many settlers there and a heck of an operation. Not sure if this was an oversight or working as intended.

It seems like a bug, you should not kill any settlers in your own settlements. I run beta version and it seems like Bethesda have changed the quest. If anyone needs the game interface command Pest Control: Setstage 000F7933 200. And you can free report back to Dr. Binet

Cheers,

I'll wipe out the Institute before I wipe out my own settlers. Actually, wiping out the Institute is on my to-do list anyways.

(at least for this play-through)
