Greygarden beds?

Post » Tue Feb 02, 2016 2:01 pm

So .. are beds needed in Greygarden if it's still only the bots?

I went ahead and made some beds ... just because, but was wondering if it really matters with them.

Same with water and food? Does it matter at all? I may be adding some real settlers in there soon and was wondering if I need to factor in the bots for everything.

Thanks.

It only needs beds if you put up a beacon and summons settlers.

I had to laugh at the initial settlement stats there showing 6 "people", when they're just robots. In their defense though, some of them actually have more personality than most people in the game.

Given the fallout series, it is pretty clear that at least some Robots are people too.

I built my own shack to replenish health there.

Eh? Once I started to have humans show up, if I didn't have as many beds as humans + 'bots combined, I was getting an exclamation point warning.

Yes, I had that occur as well.

Settlers also complaining about the bed situation.

The bots must get jealous even though they work 24/7.

I just put it down to them needing virtual charging stations. (Either that or who ever wrote the software couldn't be bothered dotting the i's.)

Near enough, good enough.

Once I had people there, I had to build a number of beds equal to the people+robots. They were factored into the total settlement population, so even though they don't use the beds, the game doesn't differentiate.
