This topic reoccurs constantly, so why not.
Where ever you go in the internet that has talks about Fallout, there is a plea for another Obsidian iteration of the series, so it's a relevant topic to keep rolling.
There's a shoddy poll up there with some pointers for what ever discussion might occur. I think one the bigger questions about this is where should they go with it if given the chance. More of the same that we have already (Fallout 3, 4, New Vegas)? A further (than NV) step back towards the roots of the series through rethinking the gameplay and overall design and how to still provide for both sides? A heavier step back towards the roots of the series given that now there's a proven market for such games? Something else entirely?
If something like that ever happens it'll not be a numbered part of the series anyway, so it shouldn't matter whether or not it resembles what Bethesda does, and more over, variety might decrease [censored] talking and the "against" mentality. And in any case, if it does end up happening, it is still years away. So, should Obsidian do another Fallout game and what kind of game should that be? If not, why not?
Fight Discuss.
