Does anyone know of the mod that makes the robes on the females look fitted more like dresses? If so, could you give me a link to where I can find it?

The creator is indeed CanadianIce. The mods are hosted at her forum, http://grotto.moddersrealm.com/index.php, you'll just need to sign up and then a download link will appear in the top menu, then just choose one of the robe replacers (or a combination of both). If you like the dresses look, her Victorian Gowns and Elegant Dresses mods are also lovely.
