I am have been playing the game for some time with no troubles but since I entered Trinity Tower's upper floors the sound has been getting all messed up. It seems to be trigger by explosions or gun fire. Everything starts getting horrible distortion and lag....it seems to train wreck. If i stop and wait it will catch up but as soon as there is more gun fire or effects it starts all over again. it almost sounds like there is a echo or something. the interesting thing is it just the sound...the graphics are smooth.

I have tried everything I can find on the net but nothing seems to work...I did notice that dropping the sound card down to 16 bit DVD quality helps but the issue is still there just not as pronounced.

Any ideas?
