i befriended hancock 1st, then did silver shroud quest line. failed optional part, save whatshisname, so had to kill sinjin. did that. now i had to go to talk to hancock. look at map, he is in the middle of nowhere. ok, i seen this with preston before during the castle quest. so i fast travel a few times and hancock ends up in goodneighbor. i go to his office and talk with him. i am never given the option to complete the quest. all i get are the companion options. have tried talking to him several times, but i never get to say sinjin is dead, or whatever progresses the quest line.

edit: and yes, i am in the costume!!

I think I heard about there being a possible bug where you can't turn in Silver Shroud quests to Hancock. Not sure if it is related to making him a companion or not, but perhaps you should look into it.

bah. i had to swap out companions, MAKE hancock my companion, THEN talk to him. pops the quest line.

^^ Make him your companion first, then he will make the proper responses, then you can drop him again if you want.
