Steam Fallout 4 forums ran by a rude guy...

Post » Sun Feb 07, 2016 9:44 am

Well I have been struggling and put in a lot of time to get Fallout 4 to run smooth, I even own nvidia cards. i finally am now able to help people with AMD get a full steady 50-60 FPS in fallout 4 anywhere in the game. So I ask the guy who runs the Steam Bethesda Fallout 4 forums if he would post my guide. This is the response I had gotten.

I think this is pretty poor for someone allowed to represent Bethesda on the internet on Valves steam forums. With this attitude when I am just asking him to look and sticky the guide to help people and that is the response I get.

I respect both your interest and knowledge, but surely if you have an issue with someone on a Steam forum, it should be resolved there (or by private message).

I don't understand why a thread on this forum grumbling about someone on another forum would be:

  • necessary

  • appropriate

  • or, of any interest to anyone

Not trying be harsh, but is 'someone being rude to you' a legitimate discussion topic? Really?

Maybe I'm on crack or just too old for my brain to work correctly, but I didn't think anyone ran the steam forums per se. You can post articles and the likes to steam without getting anyone's permission, and Bethesda - to my knowledge - doesn't run that show at all; they have no association with it. This is just some jerkhole of a guy with a superiority complex.

This topic will likely be locked when a Mod notices it.

They really don't allow bashing other forums.

And no, Bethesda has nothing to do with the Steam forums.

They have their hands full just keeping us in line here.

Even our mods are volunteers I think

The thing is you are missing, is I am trying to help people, and asked them if they would post my guide/sticky it to help others and even look at it. That is the response I got, whoever they are is representing both Valve and Bethesda. I was not rude, crude, an ahole, trying to help people and I got a troll response from someone that is currently representing and moderating for both companies. If you do not bring up issues like this, they will continue to happen, that persons toxic thinking and treatment of others will continue and it will reflect on the company's they represent.

You did great work.

He is full of himself, with delusions of Superiority (complex?) on this matter.

Doesn't rlly belong here, per se, but it passes the sniff test.

*shrug I'd prolly be posting here about it to, if only to let off STEAM :P

best advise though, is

Spoiler
buy a Console. :D

My suggestion for a long-lasting topic:

1) Post information about your Guide and a link to it. (I think links are legal)

2) Leave off any reference to Steam forums.

is he really not working for bethesda? he finishes his thread by saying: "Thank you for your continued support. If you have feedback to share, contact our support staff here:"

What a [censored] piece of [censored] of a human being. If this is the kind of person who works at Bethesda then I am just going to piss at their door, they are a [censored] bunch of retards, this guy sounds worse than Phil Fish fans and Obsidian fans together. I am sorry to say this but I don't want to contribute giving my money to pay the bills of this [censored]. Not gonna buy any of the Fallout 4 DLC after this.

Not sure if they work for Bethesda or not, but they are representing Bethesda and Valve in the steam community.
