*******UNDISCOVERED WORKSHOP AND ACT I QUEST SPOILERS*******
At my settlements, I've been trying to give the best impression of civilized living as possible. My style of playing Fallout is as civilized as possible under whatever circumstances I've ended up in. Being a part of the BoS doesn't make this easy sometimes but I'm dealing with it. I try to give settlements a feel that's kind of like Covenant, only not as weird, but the dead ghoul hanging from the ceiling at Croup Manor kind of screws with the ambience. I've spent HOURS dragging dead bodies into rivers, shooting at them with a laser pistol hoping they turn into ashes, placing objects over them (causes some pretty hilarious scenes when you leave the settlement and come back), and throwing Motlov cocktails at them... they won't go away. It doesn't happen every time a settlement gets attacked, it's totally random from what I could possibly notice. I avoid interacting with merchants during attacks, engaging in radiant conversation with companions during combat... anything that could possible mess with the game I avoid. But nothing works. There is a ghoul in 10 pieces in the middle of Sunshine Trading Co-op's merchant center I made and it makes me nuts. MESSING WITH MY AMBIENCE lol. No, but seriously, I am praying that this upcoming patch makes it go away. Does anyone know if the PC version of the 1.3 patch has cleaned this issue? I just want to know if I can look forward to creating a less-traumatic scene at my settlements.
Oh, and Trashcan Carla thinks she's queen b**** and stands on a roof with her brahmin at Sanctuary Hills high on Jet. I have to build stairs to get her down when all I want to do is sell her chems I make specifically to use as trade to get materials that end up going towards the stairs to get her and her cow off my roof.
Oh, and if I get yelled at about Mama Murphy overdosing, blowing up the institute or about ANYTHING from Knight Rhys one more time I'm gonna go rogue and kill everyone.
DO THESE THINGS STOP?
