I've been waiting 3 months for a fix but still nothing, even with patch 1.3.

The quest marker is on the executive terminal but it says it requires Jacob's Password to unlock it. MacReady is standing right behind me but he won't give me the password like he is supposed to. I know it's because I already have a Jacob's Password in my inventory from Covenant. Why would you use the same name for 2 separate key items?

Also people are saying the only way around this is to reload a previous save. However I don't have any earlier saves from before I even entered this building.
