Reboot Covenant

Hello fellow wastelanders,

I have put 130 hours in my Fallout 4 character so far, and without regret.

Well except for one: In the first few hours of the game(relatively) I got into a fight. Normally this is nothing to worry about but this time I guess I accidentally hit a Covenant resident, because they all got angry(you know how it goes).

I thought, maybe they are supported to be enemies so i killed them all and left. I slowly started realizing what i had done, and started to feel worse and worse about it.

The question is: can I somehow reset the cell, quest and npc's?

I've have seen some commands that do some of these things but not sure if it will work correctly.

I'll try them out myself but I'm posting this anyway because of my lack in confidence. :)

Thanks in advance,

Freewoods

PS: did I do the tags right?

Reload a save from before it happened, that's the only way to do it.

I don't think there's a console command that would reset them, but even so I wouldn't recommend it as there's a few quest scripts and the like tied to them that could get royally screwed up.

The only way to get where you want to go would be to reload a previous save and then don't get in any fights that put the residents in your crosshairs.
