I take the time to build Nordhagen Beach into a very well defended, productive settlement.

I've used the Bell to summon everyone to one spot and threw all manner of hell on them all. Surprisingly, the companions (usually Codsworth and Valentine for me) will either flee or attempt to kill you.

well if you re loaded i bet she will, if you didnt i bet another settler will

there doesnt seem to be any scripts for the settlers to recognize you at all unfortunately

Huh, I tried this on Spectacle Island and Mr. Freedom Radio said something like "Targeting a friendly settlement. Fire mission canceled." Did you guys use the radio at all?
