G.E.C.K artifacting and corruption

I'm having this issue wit hthe GECK - from time to time the render window goes all haywire.

It never looks the same way each time it happens.

Anyone know what's causing this or if there is a setting I can switch on/off to stop it? It doesn't matter what I'm doing, it'll happen randomly but almost always happen. Using GTX 275 with updated drivers.

That's ugly.

Try hitting "a" once or twice when it happens again.

Hitting A might work, but that really is weird. Do you have issues with any others games because aparantly the latest nvidia drivers have issues with some things. If the problem persists then try reinstalling the geck and/or fallout 3 I guess.

Thanks guy.

I've hit A and nothing. Sometimes I can see the working level, sometimes I can't (like in the screenshot) I've noticed that it happens without fault when I've got a browser open in another window (watching the Beth YourTube tuts) I switched off a few render windows option (spec and a few others) and I haven't opened a window on this computer (using laptop for tuts now) and so far so good. *shrug* 'course now that I've typed that, it'll crap-out I'm sure. ):

I had something similar to that when I first got my GTX260, had to turn off one of the prerender or preload options (can't remember which one) in the render window options. Usually it just CTD'ed on me instead of seeing that garbled image, but I remember seeing it at least once. The resident geek in me says to tell you that if turning off them options doesn't help, make sure the vid card isn't getting too hot (heatsinc dusty? case temp? poor airflow? plugged case and powersupply fans?).
