So, last night while in the middle of a battle with a group of ghouls, I got sick of blasting 'em with shotgun shells and decided to give the ol' Kremvh's Tooth some action. Only, the weapon wasn't there. I can't remember dropping it but I must have. I have checked all of my weapon storages and it is nowhere to be found. Is it gone? Is there a way to recover it other than reverting back to an earlier save point? It was definitely my favorite melee weapon and would be pissed if I had to continue without it going forward.

That puppy is unique weapon so unless you can remember where you stored it, I think it's lost to you. If you're a PC user maybe there's something that can be done with console cmds but I'll leave that to the master race to answer.

If it was in a settlement check the settles, they steal weapons when in combat.

My problem is that I don't think that I stored it. I was on a quest where I was picking up quite a bit of stuff and took on too much so I'd drop stuff I didn't need, and I must have dropped it along the way. I would have had my companion (Valentine) share the load but he was glitching and would just sit on the ground without me being able to stimpak him. As I progressed, he just lagged really far behind. I'm going to go back and search where I think I may have dropped it and if it's gone, it's gone. I don't really feel like reverting back 4 hours and completing all of the quests again as I had acquired some mags and bobbleheads along the way. I guess I should use the 'Save' option more often instead of the 'Quicksave'. Lesson learned.
