The NERF BAT...REALLY?!?

Why? I mean, why on gods green earth?... is their ever any reason... ever... to nerf anything.... on a single player RPG.



I spent countless hours svcking Macreadys balls blue so I could get his perk (which was awesome btw) only to have you oxygen thieves NERF it. Combat has now completely changed. I went from playing on the hardest mode to normal and its still different than the pre patch normal, my headshot percentages are all screwy.



Who waves the nerf bat on a single player RPG? Bethesda what are you doing? This is NOT, I repeat, NOT an online game where everyone's crying about how OP something is. if gameplay is too easy play on a harder mode. WTF! In my 36 years of gaming I have never seen anything like this....



I have been playing Fallout only since #3. I don't recall ever seeing anything like this b4. I wish I could have fired off a more positive post I have been enjoying the game since its release. All games have glitches bugs etc...so what. But to intentionally nerf a perk because it was OP in a SINGLE PLAYER RPG is inane. Was it realistic that I had a 95% headshot a great distances with a walther ppk? NO. It was fun because I could never hit at those distances in real life. I don't play Fallout because its realistic but because its NOT.

I am glad it`s fixed.


I can still do the samething with orange mentat & various VATS enhanced rifles anyway.



This glitch was making game extremely.... silly...

A little fun at the beginning... a huge boredom starts kicks in after maybe 20 headshot kills.

Yea, it's not that they NERFed the perk, it's that they fixed it. The perk is supposed to give 20% better hit chance in VATS for headshots but someone forgot a decimal point and instead of putting 20.00% they put 2000%. Was it fun to use that broken perk? Sure, but it also go boring, and now that the perk is working as intended the game requires more strategy again. It's great.


But give the mods a few days, and I'm sure someone will mod it back in. And if you are on console, well then give the big corporations a few months (maybe 6? lol) and that should be a viable mod for the consoles.

Got to love how before the patch everyone was screaming for it to be fixed because frankly it was broken. Now suddenly,, it's been fixed and people are crawling out of the woodwork crying that it should have been left alone.




It wasn't working as intended, it was broken. End of.



edit: also, 36 years of gaming, but your post comes across as that of a 12 years old, seriously.

If you really want the 95% kill shot back, there was a mod for it that came out less than hour after the patch hit. (I think the modder did it on the beta patch.)
